LABOR Field Trip Session.

Labor Digital is a creative agency based in Mainz, Germany, working on digital products for international clients. helping companies gain visibility and grow with scalable websites, strong content and convincing designs.

This time, the outcome was not digital, more like analog. For a team getaway in the Vosges Mountains in France, surrounded by forests, mountains and considerably fewer screens than usual, Labor invited Supercrack to bring a full-scale screen printing experience to their retreat.

We bring creativity and expertise to everything we do.

We packed up the mobile print studio, brought the screens, inks, squeegees and plenty of textiles, and headed south-west. The idea: take a team that normally spends its days designing digital products and give them something completely analogue to work with.

Produce something that lasts. Don’t Do Merchandising. We Tranfer Memories to Wearables

Our first goal is to produce something you actually want to wear. Its not just a company logo - or even worse - an generated Images without the path of exploring ideas and going a way. Most energy flows into process - trying to find answers to this question: How can we dollectivley create something, the team can relative with. How can we involve everyone, and build a connection, an idea, and turn into something haptic.

Thats what we are looking for - something that lasts, that will be worn, and not get dusty in one of your drawers.

This is our main goal, as supercrack trys to do it different. we see it as our mission to create something special that will be used, to give credit and acknowledge the energy that and long way a tshirt, colors, and other materials go until somehting like a print environment and a tshirts exists.

Here, Hands-on creativity meets opportunity.

During the printing process, every team member was invited to print their own shirt. And that’s where the magic happens: you see an idea become something tangible, right before your eyes.

The physical act of pulling the squeegee, the ink and the fabric come together in a simple but surprisingly satisfying process. What was once just an idea slowly takes shape — first as a thought, then as a concept, a design and a finished artwork. After all that creative work, the design is translated into a screen through a precise technical process, ready to become something physical.

And then comes the final step: one pull of the squeegee, one layer of ink, one piece of fabric — and suddenly, the idea is there. Tangible. Haptic. Real.

connecting dots to do something personal

It started with a series of group sessions where ideas were explored, associations were shared and personal connections began to emerge. The theme of the session was simple: a field trip to France. Since nobody knew the destination beforehand, we wanted to find out what the idea of holiday meant to each participant. Everyone was invited to draw a small sketch of a symbol that represented what vacation meant to them. No design skills required. No right or wrong answers. Just a quick, personal scribble.

And that’s where things got interesting.

Everyone came up with something completely different. Some drawings were funny, some nostalgic, some surprisingly personal. Together, they revealed little glimpses of the people behind the job titles — the things they enjoy, remember or simply associate with getting away. A flip-flop to avoid getting sand between your toes. A world-famous Monobloc chair representing the ultimate camping experience. Or the beloved office dog who had passed away, but would always be remembered. We took all these little sketches, digitised and refined them, and brought them into a cohesive visual language. Then we connected the dots — assembling them into one collective collage where every person, in their own way, became part of the final artwork.

And that became the print.

Everyone wore the same piece of clothing, but everyone could still recognise a little part of themselves in it. A shared memory made personal — and a personal story turned into something the whole group could wear.

“Absolutely great and professional. The ultimate team experience with the absolute pro, highly recommended. And classy.”
